Get Involved with the Saint Mary’s GOP
Getting involved with the St. Mary’s County, Maryland Republican Party can be a transformative experience that offers individuals an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on their community and the larger political landscape. Here are compelling reasons why people should consider joining and actively participating in the local Republican Party: Meeting and developing relationships with fellow Republicans to uphold the Judeo-Christian principles that founded this nation and the Republican Party ideals that promote Faith, Family, and Country.
In 2023, the St. Mary’s County Republican Party aims to pursue several ambitious and strategic goals to strengthen the party, promote conservative principles, and make a positive impact on the community. Here are some key objectives for the year:
There are opportunities to help the Republican Party over the next few months. We will definitely need help working the booth during the County fair. Set up of the booth/display is September 20th from 5 to 7 pm. We will be sending a sign up sheet shortly of shifts at booth giving out stickers, charm pops, glow in the dark bracelets, and flyers. We will also be conducting an unofficial Presidential vote. On Saturday morning, all Republicans are invited to participate with us in the Fair parade. And if you can’t walk the entire distance, just join in when we are at the fairground driveway–no problem. If you can help us take down the booth/display on Sunday around 5:30 it would be a big help.
On November 11th, the Republican Party will have a float and walk in the Veteran’s Day Parade in Leonardtown. Again, all Republicans are invited to participate. And if you can’t walk the entire distance, join in wherever you can. After the parade, there is a ceremony in the town Square. It is a fun day and one small way we can thank our Veterans!
