Mr. James “Randy” Guy is serving his third term as Commissioner President of the Commissioners of St. Mary’s County. He was born in Leonardtown and graduated with a degree in transportation and traffic management from the Community College of the Air Force.

Christy Kelly enjoys living in Lexington Park with her husband Bob of 37 years. You may see her riding her bike, walking around our county parks, swimming at the local pool, volunteering throughout our community or at a fourth of July parade. Her greatest success in life is to have raised five of the most wonderful children. They are the light of her life. She is a member of Maryland Government Finance Officers Association and is active in their Tax Affinity Group. Christy is an active member of the Republican Women of St. Mary’s.

Jaymi Sterling is a career prosecutor dedicated to keeping our community safe. With 14 years of prosecutorial experience, and an impeccable record of integrity, she worked her way up to become Deputy State’s Attorney and Chief of Staff for the St. Mary’s County State’s Attorney’s Office.

She began her career in the Office of the Register of Wills as a Deputy Register of Wills in May 2003. In October 2006, she was promoted to PC Administrator. In December, 2010 she was appointed Chief Deputy.

My career in law enforcement began with the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office when I was hired as a correctional officer in 1994. Now in my 28th year of service to the citizens of our county, I have worked my way through your Sheriff’s Office and its ranks – serving, supervising and collaborating with every division in the agency. I have held a command level position for over a dozen years.
